HOW TO INSTALL
Check out new features
We’re working on new Windows features all the time. With Insider Preview Builds, you get to be among the first to try these features before the general public.2 Here are just a few recent highlights.
Stay better connected
With My People, you can pin your favorite contacts directly to the taskbar and view multiple communication apps together, all filtered to each person on your taskbar.3
As an evolution of the Photos app, Story Remix uses deep learning and artificial intelligence to understand your content and automatically bring it together into video stories.
PDF Reader enhancement
Fill in PDF-based forms within Microsoft Edge, make notes directly on PDFs and navigate longer PDFs with the Table of Contents feature.
Audio to Beam
Under Settings > Gaming > Broadcasting, you can now choose “Per-app audio” to broadcast using only the game’s audio to Beam.
Improved update experience
You can easily be aware of an available update without it interrupting your work through the new interactive toast notification.
Free up more storage space
Use Storage Sense to choose to automatically delete files in your Downloads folder that haven’t been changed for 30 days.
Improved battery life
Power Throttling4 can result in up to 11% savings in CPU power consumption for some of the most strenuous use cases.
Look for the cat in Settings > Update & security > Windows Insider Program.
