Mega Gas

For low income earners in Kenya, Mega Gas offers cleaner, more sustainable and affordable cooking gas than charcoal firewood and LPG gas by refining/recycling plastic waste to produce gas. Charcoal and wood used as fuel contributes to indoor air pollution, a serious health hazard that causes the deaths of more than 4 million people worldwide annually. The harvesting of such biomass fuels has also degraded ecosystems and is unsustainable. Mega Gas refines unsorted polythene/plastic waste into clean cooking gas through a process that creates no emissions, residue, or pollution to the environment. Clients experience healthier indoor environments, and climate change is mitigated when clean cooking gas replaces charcoal and wood.
